I loved this book. Rebecca is accosted and taken from her home in Portsmouth. She spends a time hidden on a ship of unfavorable men. Finally she escapes and finds her way to the ship Redemption. She dresses as a man and hides there.Read to learn of her travels and her struggles including saving men's lives. Who will she love? Who will desire her heart?
There is lots of prayer and scriptures read. If you don't care for this it may nor be your book.
This can't be over. The sequel is hot on my trail.

This book captivated my time. Each moment that could be found during the day was spent discovering the fate of Rebecca.. I thoroughly enjoyed the prayers and petitions full of inspirational scriptures. I highly recommend Erin Heitzman and this book
Rebecca quickly became one of my favorite heroins, who is now up there with Elizabeth Bennett in Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre.
Once you begin, you will not put it down. Then you must read the sequels. Can't wait for number five to become available.
Rebecca's faith and peaceful countenance dominated this first of four novels. Can't wait to begin Book 2. The officers' outrage was a bit over the top, but other than that, a good read.
Rebecca's Redemption captures the reader's heart and weaves a well written tale of adventure, courage, faith and perseverance . Be prepared to rally for Rebecca, shed a tear and cheer for her as she encounters a multitude of challenges and overcomes obstacles. Looking forward to diving into book 2. Thank you Erin Heitzmann for sharing your talent and gifts with your readers.
